The 2nd Indo-US Workshop on Emerging Accessibility Technologies for the Blind and Visually Impaired (BVI) concluded successfully !

BACKGROUND

For people with visual disabilities, the world of digital information can be difficult or nearly impossible to access, navigate and use constructively. As educational and professional knowledge management processes in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) become predominantly or even exclusively digital, there is an urgent need to develop technologies that facilitate seamless and intuitively responsive use of this knowledge for the BVI.

This Workshop seeks to bring together educators, researchers and industry partners devoted to innovative solutions for digital knowledge accessibility and management for the BVI. The goal is to develop future collaborations with organizations globally.

The 1st Indo-US Workshop on Emerging Accessibility Technologies for the Blind and Visually Impaired (BVI) was organized by Indiana University. Link to webpage
